Structural Drying Using Vortex Drying Principals
After the extraction process is complete, absorbed water still needs to be removed from the structure. Not only do carpet and pad need to be dried, but sub-flooring, walls & ceiling, insulation and various contents in the damaged area including furniture and paper goods like boxes or papers, also need to be properly dried.

Adelman uses a closed drying system, sealing the damaged area from the effects of outdoor temperature and humidity conditions. With a closed drying system, the restoration technician has greater control over the drying cycle and can adjust the drying process to the conditions.

First, Adelman installs high velocity airmovers into the damaged area to promote quick drying. Adelman

practices the Vortex drying method, which uses the physics of aerodynamics to increase overall air movement and decrease drying time. Structural components can all be dried without disassembling your building. Hydrostatic pressure forces the moisture out of the walls or ceiling. All structural components including carpet and pad can be dried in place saving you time, inconvenience and money.

Dehumidifiers are the second component in a drying cycle. While airmovers dry the structure, dehumidifiers dry the air. Without dehumidifiers the room would quickly become saturated and the drying process would stop. Adelman uses modern high efficiency dehumidifying equipment. We feature six, twelve and twenty-four gallon per day industrial dehumidifiers. Having such a wide range of equipment gives Adelman the flexibility to customize a drying plan for your restoration needs.
