How often should I clean?
Cleaning frequency will always be dependant on the amount of use. Many carpet warrantees require cleaning every 12-18 months. However, areas with greater use should be cleaned a minimum of twice a year.

How long will my carpet take to dry?
With good ventilation, most carpets dry in 4-6 hours. The length of time may increase depending on the thickness of the carpet, weather conditions including humidity, and how soiled the carpet is prior to the cleaning.

Can I walk on the carpet after the cleaning?
Carpets can be walked on after the cleaning. Keep in mind, however, floors adjacent to the cleaning may become slippery.


Should I vacuum before the cleaning?
Doing a light vacuuming before the cleaning is always a good idea.

Does Adelman move furniture?
At your home, Adelman will move and replace most furniture including couches, chairs & end tables. Large pieces like china hutches, entertainment centers and pianos will be cleaned around. Adelman asks that you pick up any knickknacks and breakables prior to the cleaning.

What about carpet protectors like Scotchgard or Du Pont Teflon?
Adelman uses a Du Pont Teflon. Like Scotchgard when something is spilled Teflon helps prevent staining. Teflon also helps the carpet to stay clean longer by providing a non-stick surface and allowing more soil is removed during vacuuming.

How long should the protective pads and blocks stay under my furniture?
The pads and blocks should stay under furniture until the carpet is completely dry.

What about my carpet warrantee?
Most carpet warrantees actual require cleaning every 12-18 from a professional service using hot water extraction.
